the spoons and the maker

 

Angela Lowe loves spoons. 

This curious affair sees her delving deep into the dusty corners of antique stores and second-hand shops mining for these sought after objects.  The odd fork is a desired object too ~ stainless, silver, enamelled or e.p.n.s.  

These relics are carted home to the Spoon Savvy studio/workshop where they are hammered, sawed, filed, sanded, bent, buffed and polished into a range of jewellery, accessory and decor designs.

A passion for what is old gives life to something new.
