These delightful beauties have travelled through time, tearooms, fingertips, conversations and moments warmed by the musical stir of the spoon. . .tink tink

From traditional silverware patterns, monogrammed cutlery (featuring family initials or a single letter), to handcrafted engravings, etchings and all of the geometric lines and curves in-between. There’s a world of patterns waiting to be discovered.  Spoons glorious spoons – and the odd fork too.  Mined for in the corners of old kitchens and shops, carted back to the Spoon Savvy workshop, beaten & polished, penned and curved for a finger… whose finger?

Handcrafted, using unique methods, handmade and designed tools, a touch of savvy and a love for spoons & design, Spoon Savvy creates these whimsical, silverware, jewellery designs.

Silver spoon rings are amazingly comfortable, and also adjustable, to achieve maximum comfort & super savvy style. Fabulous for tiny, generous or in-between sized fingers.

People will be taking your hand, inquiring about your amazing ring, before they realise it was once a teaspoon, stirring hot cuppa’s with some toast in the morning over an inquisitive conversation.

fact.  Did you know that spoon rings were originally made in 17th century England?

Servants were unable to afford rings made of precious metals let alone survive on the overpopulated London streets.  Yearning to wed their lovely, wishing for something special to slip on that  finger,  they would often pilfer the silver from the manor houses in which they worked to make wedding rings with.  It occasionally earned them more than a slap on the wrist or the boot – seven years beyond the seas !  Now that’s commitment.

Beautiful work, I will be buying some of your spoon rings. Will keep a watch of your selections. We were in Tasmania after the fires and it just broke my heart on all the damage we saw,.. I will share your creativity with my friends, and help support.
